I have read, concur with, understand, and acknowledge the above Scholé Hall Family Handbook guidelines and policies.

I agree to uphold the Code of Conduct and each teacher’s classroom policies, whether specified here or elsewhere stated. I agree to hold my children to the same.

I agree to uphold the parental supervision and off-campus policies of Scholé Hall that pertain to each of my students according to their age.

I understand that all class grades are given by independent Scholé Hall teachers and that I must communicate to teachers directly for any class details.

I understand that enrollment fees must be paid in full to Scholé Hall for each child attending class each semester. I understand that tuition must be paid to teachers in full for all classes, and that each Scholé Hall teacher determines their tuition rates, deadlines, and class policies.

I understand and acknowledge the family volunteer commitment. I understand that exceptions are made ONLY for legitimate conflicting reasons.

I understand that students aged 12 and under at the beginning of the semester must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian each day, that they are not permitted to leave the campus, and that they must be supervised by a parent or designated adult if they are on campus between classes.

I understand that students aged 13 and over at the beginning of the semester are responsible for following our family’s decision regarding off-campus access and time between classes. I understand that parent volunteer chaperones are a courtesy and that Scholé Hall does not assume liability for these students during the school day, whether on or off campus.

I understand that if anyone from my family violates the Handbook, Code, or classroom policies and the situation cannot be remedied, it may jeopardize our participation in Scholé Hall. In the unlikely event that a conflict cannot be resolved, Scholé Hall reserves the right to deny participation to any student or family.

I understand that Scholé Hall serves solely as a support group and cooperative program and is not responsible for the education of my children. I understand that Scholé Hall is not a legal entity and will not give legal protection or legal assistance. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to be aware of, and in compliance with, the laws governing home educators in the state of Texas.

In consideration of my family being permitted to participate in Scholé Hall, I do hereby release and agree to hold harmless Scholé Hall’s teachers and volunteers from any and all liability for claims, damages, or injury, including costs and attorneys fees, to my family or any personal property during the time of our attendance at Scholé Hall activities, whether or not such damages were sustained in connection to any Scholé Hall activities. I agree that my family shall not now, or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, initiate or prosecute any action, suit, or other legal proceeding against any Scholé Hall teacher or volunteer arising out of, relating to, or in connection with Scholé Hall. I understand that Scholé Hall teachers are Christians acting in good faith and will to the best of my ability work out any disagreement personally with them, or if necessary, with a third party.

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that participation in all activities involves risk of personal injury or illness, including COVID-19. In consideration for being allowed participation in Scholé Hall, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Scholé Hall’s teachers, volunteers, and other community members from any claims arising out of, or relating to, physical or other injury that may result while participating in Scholé Hall any events, education, or excursions.
